The Mellado Story
THE MELLADO STORY BEGAN IN THE LATE 1990S
when Ray Mellado and Martha Mellado began embroidering for different local screen print businesses around Chula Vista, CA. Originally, the Mellado's worked as a sub department of screen print companies.
Then, in 2001, the Mellado family was able to open their own company and Mellado Designs was born.
OVER THE NEXT 5 YEARS,
sports became a strong focus of the company. We wanted to help support local sport teams with affordable prices for athletic wear, so we developed our own screen printing department and expanded our embroidery capacity. Our dedication to our clients and the quality of our product led to our company becoming recognized through out all of San Diego.
WE DIDN'T JUST SURVIVE, WE EXPANDED.
